Meet the Board:
President:
Don Gauthreaux
Don and Monica Gauthreaux have been home
educating for fifteen years. Their four children are:
Jesse, 22, Corey, 18, Aubree, 16, and Donte', 8.
This year is their fourth year serving as President. The Gauthreauxs
have also faithfully handled the position of Treasurer /
Membership for eight years. The curricula of
choice for the "Gauxs" are A.C.E. and A-Beka.
Vice
President:
Derek Dake
Derek and Kim Dake have 5 children: Hannah, 19;
Sarah, 17; Leah, 15; James, 13; and Josiah, 11. They have
been home educating for 13 years and are currently using
A.C.E. and Rod and Staff curricula. The
Dakes have served on the CHEF of Lafayette board for 6
years.
Secretary: Paul & Nichole DeLine
Treasurer/Membership: Douglas and Janey
Thibodeaux
Douglas and Janey
Thibodeaux have 3 children: Camden 14, Donovan 14, and
Haylee 11. This year will be their first year serving
on the board, holding the position of
Treasurer/Membership, and their fourth year
homeschooling. Their curricula of choice is Abeka and
A.C.E.

Ross Little, Jr.
Ross and Julie
Little have been active in CHEF of Lafayette for 8 years
and have also served on the board for as many years.
They have 4 children: Will, 8, Julie Marie, 6, John, 4
and Noah, 3. ABEKA is their curriculum of choice

BECOMING
A BOARD MEMBER
The
only requirement is to be a homeschooler, a member of CHEF
of Lafayette, and a willing spirit to serve other
homeschoolers in the area. The board meets once each month
(see calendar for meeting
schedule). This is where your voice and input can make a
difference.
